Precision AirConvey Corp. presents live action demonstrations of its trim handling edge trim removal systems and auxiliary equipment at its in-house testing laboratory in its Newark, Del. headquarters.

Trim Systems

This pristine facility features full-scale, fully operating trim handling systems that automatically capture and evacuate paper, plastic film, foil, carpet, swarf and other materials for recycling or disposal. An inline cutter/fan system that cuts the material into little pieces and a venturi-based system for handling continuous, uncut trim are setup for testing in an environment that closely simulates actual operating conditions. Static controls, sound attenuation devices, a variety of air separators and other equipment are on hand for testing a wide range of materials.

The spacious test center also includes:

• WastePAC Densifier for transforming plastic film waste into bricks
  ready for reprocessing
• Repelletizing system for automatically converting plastic waste into
  new, reusable pellets
• Roll splitter for removing plastic film, foil, paper and other materials from
  the core for safe, easy recycling
• Dust collection system for high performance in trim handling applications
