Newark, DE: Precision AirConvey (PAC) President Larry Green has been named Chief Market Strategist for the pneumatic conveying systems company headquartered in Newark, Del. In addition to fulfilling his role as president, Mr. Green will spearhead the exploration and development of new markets for the company’s pneumatic conveying systems, equipment and expertise. Applying nearly 30 years of experience as an accomplished sales engineer and product development manager to the new role, Mr. Green plans to focus his efforts on markets with facilities where manual labor and material handling comprise a substantial proportion of overhead. Automating the waste handling function in many of these environments will streamline operations and provide cost savings that immediately impact the bottom line, according to Mr. Green.

Based in the company’s Phillipsburg, New Jersey manufacturing center, Mr. Green is renowned among converters, label manufacturers, print-to-mail center managers and others as the first to develop and commercialize the modern automated pneumatic trim and waste handling system. While outmoded systems rely on a venturi fan to transport ribbon-like material to a bin, PAC’s breakthrough cutter/fan configuration cuts the material at the source, permitting the waste to be conveyed greater distances without clogging and then densified and recycled.
